Buwakan ni Alejandra


Idyllic setting is what comes to mind when you visit this pictureque place embellished by bright and lively flowers.


This majestic garden is called Buwakan ni Alejandra because Alejandra is none other than the mother-in-law of owner Eleuterio Gentap.


Situated along the Transcentral Highway, this tourist destination boosts of beautifully landscaped attraction bursting with colorful blooms. The scenic place spans 700 square meters and home to some of the most diverse flora species. 

Also, the best thing about the place is you can bring your own food and have a picnic because they have a designated place to eat with tables and chairs. There’s no corkage. 



There’s a charging station where you can charge your mobile phones for only P10 for the entire duration of your stay. No need to fret about low batteries or dead batteries for that matter. 


They are open daily from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 6:00pm.

How to get there:

By Motorcycle: There are a lot of Habal-habal (Motorcycle) drivers in JY square. If destination is Buwakan Ni Alejandra only, price starts at P500/pax but it usually increases depending on the other local tourist attractions you want to visit. 

By V-Hire: Take a V-Hire in Ayala Center Cebu. Fare is P120/pax one way. 

By Own Transpo: Just type in Google Maps or Waze Buwakan ni Alejandra (which is already part of Gaas, Balamban). This is a 30-45 mins drive from JY Square and just a few meters away from Florentino’s and Adventure Cafe. So it’s not that difficult to find.
