Weekends are special because it marks that particular period of the week for leisure, fun and food trips. Obviously, these come to my mind when I heard about this new resto called the Weekend (highlight on food trip).
This quaint restaurant with a modernistic vibe serves delightful dishes that pleases both the eye and the taste buds. Food are served creatively thereby ensuring a tastier dinner experience.
Their dishes considerably looked more appetizing and at the same time appear to be more expensive.
When we eat out we are after the good food - we want to eat something that is fresh, cooked the way we want it and purposefully arranged & prepared attractively. Food presentation after all enhances the aesthetic appeal of the food. This is how the Weekend prepares their food, appearance is taken into consideration to stimulate the appetite.
The dirty rice is actually fried rice mixed with bits and pieces of angus beef.
The place looks inviting and has that comfortable restaurant atmosphere conducive to chitchats and small gatherings.
Awaken is a delicious concoction of apple, beets and ginger.
Staffs are friendly and accommodating hence the great service. Too bad though they don't offer desserts.
