Civet Coffee, Shangs Island Town Center

It is said to be one of the world's priciest if not the most expensive coffee. But what makes it more interesting is that it is supposedly the "dung" of the civet cat or a type of a cat-like species.

The civet cat eats the coffee beans and the processing starts while it is inside the animal's abdomen. When it is released from the insides of the cat, the "poop beans" remain intact. It is then processed by separating the untouched coffee bean from the stool, wash it then sun dried. And voila, the pricey coffee is then made.

Coffee and Tea are best served with mouth-watering cakes, cupcakes and doughnuts.

                                                           Most Expensive Poop Drink

Kopi Luwak as it is also known worldwide is the most expensive cat-poop drink. It will definitely awaken your senses not just because of its bitter, sharp and minty taste but also because of its price. This cup of coffee costs P750 per cup. On the other hand, the Korean Barista of this Coffee Shop is at the same time the owner and personally prepares this distinctive coffee.

  1. People think too much about what they are eating and drinking. Actually some people are too cautious about how their meals prepared. Thoughts like these often make them hate their meal and eventually they lose their appetite for it. I don't think about Kopi Luwak, I just enjoy its every sip whenever I get a chance to visit a restaurant with my business clients.

Thanks for posting this superbly interesting blog. I liked reading it till the end.
