πŸš— By Car / Own Transpo (2-3 hours travel time depending on traffic):

It’s easy to locate since it’s just along the highway. Just navigate via google map or waze. Right side if you are from Barili.

πŸšƒ By Bus (4-5 hours travel time depending on traffic):

From Cebu City, ride a Ceres bus from South Bus terminal going to Samboan via Barili. Ask the driver to drop you off at Fantasy Lodge Cebu which is just along the highway in Brgy. Dalahican, Samboan. It’s actually a 10-15 min ride from Aguinid Waterfalls.

Barangay Seoul


Cebu has been swarmed with unli-samgyeopsal joints. Barangay Seoul is a new go-to place for eat all you can grilled meat lovers. It is one of those self-service Korean BBQ houses that serves high-quality fresh meat at an affordable price.


You get your own rice, your own sauces and your own utensils. You also get to choose from their ready to eat food such as tteokbokki (rice cake), chapchae (korean glass noodles), odeng (fish cakes), dak galbi (korean spicy chicken stir fry) and more. And let’s not forget the Kimchi, a staple in Korean cuisine which by the way is delicious.


They also have available spicy Korean Noodles. You just need to request the staff to cook it for you and then have it served to your table.


Roman Lettuce is available as well to complete that samgyeopsal experience. And of course the usual Korean vegetable side dishes.



For Lunch P299 per head (11:00am to 3:00pm) and Dinner P349 per head (5:00pm to 12:00mn), you can already eat to your heart’s content and satisfy your Korean cravings.

Rejoice milktea addicts because Black Scoop Cafe, one of the premier milk tea shops in the country has recently opened in SM City Cebu.




Taking pride in being the country’s first black soft serve ice cream, tea and coffee lounge, this hole in the wall bubble tea joint offers a wide selection of food, drinks and desserts.

Buwakan ni Alejandra


Idyllic setting is what comes to mind when you visit this pictureque place embellished by bright and lively flowers.


This majestic garden is called Buwakan ni Alejandra because Alejandra is none other than the mother-in-law of owner Eleuterio Gentap.


Situated along the Transcentral Highway, this tourist destination boosts of beautifully landscaped attraction bursting with colorful blooms. The scenic place spans 700 square meters and home to some of the most diverse flora species. 

Also, the best thing about the place is you can bring your own food and have a picnic because they have a designated place to eat with tables and chairs. There’s no corkage. 



There’s a charging station where you can charge your mobile phones for only P10 for the entire duration of your stay. No need to fret about low batteries or dead batteries for that matter. 


They are open daily from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 6:00pm.

How to get there:

By Motorcycle: There are a lot of Habal-habal (Motorcycle) drivers in JY square. If destination is Buwakan Ni Alejandra only, price starts at P500/pax but it usually increases depending on the other local tourist attractions you want to visit. 

By V-Hire: Take a V-Hire in Ayala Center Cebu. Fare is P120/pax one way. 

By Own Transpo: Just type in Google Maps or Waze Buwakan ni Alejandra (which is already part of Gaas, Balamban). This is a 30-45 mins drive from JY Square and just a few meters away from Florentino’s and Adventure Cafe. So it’s not that difficult to find.
