Coffee Prince

There is no cure for my sickness, trying out new coffeeshops in the metropolis. Hahaha.

Conspicuously located at the center of Cebu City just beside Suarez Bros, this residence turned Cafe is another Korean owned Coffee House using a playful theme of stuffed animals and cartoon characters accentuated with a colorful milieu.

The place is child friendly and best for family gatherings as well.

Their Luther Burger, a unique twist ofthe  usual burger using Krispy Kreme Glaze Doughnut Bun, sliced in half with beef patty, bacon and cheese. It's a battle between sweet and salty flavors. It comes with fries, salad and scrambled egg.

I tried their smooth and velvety Vanilla Frappe. They have 2 options either using whipped cream or cotton candy. Too bad cotton candy was unavailable.

                                   Double Espresso Caramel Macchiato

Since it recently opened, ventilation is a bit off but hopefully it gets better on my next visit.

Baristas are warm and friendly, dressed like the ones shown on the Koreanovela with the same title.

Sasam's Coffee

Pegged as one of Cebu's newest classy coffee shop, this cafe aims to please every coffee and sweet lovers.

The baristas are really attentive and accommodating. And the place spells relaxation minus the musty ambience.

Caramel Macchiato was ok but I love their Matcha Gone Bananas more because of the fruity twist.

Fudge brown with vanilla ice cream was for me the winner, I truly love it. We also tried Passion Fruit Melting Moments  but it was too sour for us.

All in all we enjoyed our short stay in this cafe, great food, delicious drink and wonderful experience.

La Lucha Taqueria

There's no doubt that Cebu has learned to adapt the diversity of International cuisines.

This is evident on the growing foreign-themed restos spread all over the metropolis and the neighboring cities.

La Lucha Taqueria, formerly known as La Lagrima Taqueria first opened in BTC (Banilad Town Center) as shared by the staffs. They have been around for quite sometime and transferred to their new location which is very near baseline.

According to google La Lucha means the struggle and the old name La Lagrima means the teardrop. For me both signifies sadness and grief, but their meal make you happy definitely.

                    Super Burrito

It is an underrated Mexican eating place (Taqueria literally means Mexican restaurant specializing in tacos) perhaps because of their location too.

             Super Flour Quesadillas

I love their super burrito and also their super flour quesadilla. Horchata was a bit unusual though the pineapple mango drink was just ok.

Zucre Pastry Shop

This upscale dessert shop is the best place to satisfy one's craving for sugary indulgence.

It is one of Cebu's newest sweet-tooth haven that allows every glutton to enjoy sweet treats at an affordable price.

I also love the idea that they not just offer cakes and pastries but they also have breads, sandwiches and pastas if you opt not to go there for desserts.

                   Rainbow Cake

The rainbow cake was surprisingly good and their S'mores Overload was heavenly.

The fried Ice Cream for me was a bit unusual but in a good way. I am definitely going back to this place and I highly recommend it to other gobblers too.

Big Tom's Charbroiled Burgers

As shown on their menu, every food item are prepared fresh daily and made upon placing orders.

Stated on their FB page: 100% Premium Sirloin Ground Beef. Never Frozen, Freshly Ground and Hand Made Patties Daily, it is therefore a promise of nothing but the best ingredients towards a happy tummy.

A female staff is uberly friendly and super accommodating. So if you're not familiar with their menu, she's the best person to talk to.

We sampled 2 of their best sellers: Double Decker Cheeseburger and Deluxe Cheeseburger.

And of course, a meal is not a meal if it's not concluded with a sweet treat so we sampled their delish Monkey Toast Warm Banana Walnut Bread topped with vanilla ice cream.

Cafe Talk

There's no stopping the Korean Coffee shops from flourishing in the metropolis. Common theme: comfy experience and great atmosphere as evident to similar shops spread in the city such as Cafe Namoo, Cafe Noriter.

Considered to be as one of Cebu's new chill out place, this cafe aims to please every Korean fanatic.

Every room or cubicle on their ground area has a pc monitor that has preloaded Korean show favorites of famous Korean Actors and Actresses.

It has free WIFI as well and every partition has 2 outlets so no need to worry about gadgets being low bat or drained.

The place is also well ventilated because of the exhaust fans located near the opening of the cubicle.

On top are "study spots" supposedly for students who are there to read and discuss reports or projects. But it can also be a place for cuddling between sweethearts and lovers.

We had Honey Bread which is prominent in every Korean Cafe and we paired it with Blueberry Yoghurt Smoothie and Java Chip.

All in all the place was great even if the drinks were just so-so and a bit sweet. Staffs however were friendly and accommodating.
