Portos Diner and Grille

This has to be one of those restaurant gems that are secluded and hidden yet offers delicious food.

                                          O'Neals Baby Back Ribs

While walking around The Capitol area, we passed by Escario Central where there are a lot of places to eat.

                                                      Pork Schnitzel

We saw this really small place and was intrigued, so we went inside. The staffs were friendly and accommodating.

                                                 Grilled Italian

You have to try O'neals Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Italian and Pork Schnitzel. Not far behind is their molten lava that will surely satisfy your sweet cravings.

Kuya J

The last time I remember, their location was near Cebu Doctor's Hospital. Currently, they have two branches: one in Escario and second is the newly opened Sm Cebu branch.

                                                    Baked Scallops

Despite the change of location, it's the same food goodness. I must admit what serves as their magnetic charm is their Baked SCALLOPS! I can't get enough of it.

                                                    Calamares

Though there are also other food in their menu that people need to sample like their calamares and pinakbet.

                                                             Pinakbet

The place being jam packed anytime of the day is a clear manifestation that the food they serve is always geared towards tummy satisfaction.

Big Flat Bread

The Big Flat Bread is another name for Pizza perfection. It has to be because their pizza tastes really great at an affordable price.

                                                 The Godfather 18"

And like any other pizza parlors, they have also a variety of pasta choices and other side dishes.

                                          Penne Arrabbiata Platter

                                           Spaghetti Bolognese

A must try is their Penne Arrabbiata and Spaghetti Bolognese. Also you have to sample their barkada fried chicken and the infamous "The Godfather" pizza. We chose 18" which is more than enough for 6-8 people.

                                          Barkada Fried Chicken

Service is really great, staffs are attentive and helpful. The place is a bit small though for a larger crowd but still a great place if you want to satisfy that pizza-pasta craving inside you.

Ulli's Streets of Asia

It is truly unstoppable for Cebu City to be widely known as every foodie's paradise. A lot of restaurants have been growing like shrubs spreading around the metro.

                                                  Szechuan Beef

Ulli's Streets of Asia is one of these notably new eating destination. Conveniently located above a celebrated mall (Ayala Terraces New Garden Wing) this place boasts of Asian food from our neighboring countries.

The service is so-so, albeit they offer cooked peanuts while waiting for the orders to be served.

                                                  Emperor's Bowl

Ulli's which is derived from their grandmother's name is actually part of the Cafe Laguna chain of restaurants scattering in the city either mall based or stand alone.

De Caffe Luwak

Special Occasions always bring a smile to friends despite busy schedules. But a good coffee bonding never fails to bring out the laughs and the joys during this gathering.

We decided to have our caffeine fix at this coffeeshop that defines relaxation and good food.

Luwak Coffee is popular in Indonesia not to mention uberly expensive. It is Civet Coffee to us here in our country.

The great thing about this place is that they are not just an alternative for other prominent coffeeshops but a player in the market as well.

Owned by Koreans, De Caffe Luwak provides a place for meet-ups, chit-chats and pure coffee pleasure.

Be sure to check their menus though because they offer a wide selection from Coffee to Tea, Smoothies and Shakes and Sandwiches to Cakes.

One Claypot House

Nestled in a busy street of the metropolis and tucked in a tiny corner, this small restaurant boasts of fusion of Southeast Asia cuisines.

Though the menu being offered is not yet that plenty, nevertheless one’s epicurean taste will surely be gratified.

Their food makes the quick visit on this diner truly a savory experience.

Cafe Noriter

A new hangout has been built at the heart of Cebu City called Café Noriter. Noriter is a Korean word for playground. Aptly named, this place has been frequented by students and yuppies alike for chitchats and pure relaxation.

Owned and operated by Korean Nationals, “Chillax” best describes the place because of the comfortable set-up where coffee drinkers are offered cushions, beanbags and stuffed animals.

This cozy setting is the very reason why this coffee shop became a regular topic of the public audiences.

You can be assured that the place is clean because prior to occupying the zone, staffs clean the venue by vacuuming the area, the pillows and the stuffed animals as well.

The place is more grounded on meeting of friends and family gathering. But be sure to be there early though because you might be on the waiting list for the long queue of customers.

During weekdays patrons are allowed to stay for 3 hours and 2 hours during weekends. Staffs will approach you if you are beyond the allowed period to accept re-orders for extension of stay.

The drinks and the food are a bit pricey though compared to prominent coffee shops in the metropolis.
